Yeah ... and it usually feels like I'm groping around in the dark, without any guarantee that what I'm doing is even useful or meaningful in any way ... but if I just take that time to do the actual making of stuff, which makes me happy, then there is zero chance that anyone will see said stuff...

Self publishing is cool and all, but I really wish I had someone other than myself to do all the actual, you know, *publishing* stuff that I suck at, like promotion / marketing, etc. so that I wouldn't have to spend all these many hours trying (and usually failing) to do it all myself.

Like, they're playing this stuff in the middle of a blue county in the bluest of blue states in an establishment where almost every customer except the obligatory embarassment of cops is a POC. Like, they can't even bother to vary it by market, which would be operationally trivial.
