It has taken me two weeks and counting to try and register a project with @gamefound.bsky.social and I'm pretty close to giving up at this point.

The latest issue with my registration is that my Company Registration number (which is blank anyway) is too many digits.

It is 000000000.

Working on a games commission and realising that six suspects and six time means 36 ways to locate and evidence them, and that is a LOT.

AKA it's spreadsheet time.

You can't help but laugh at Liz Truss really, can you.
Although Starmer's latest net favourability rating (-47) is an improvement from January (-57), it is still in a similar territory to May's when she announced her resignation (-49) and only slightly better than Johnson's on the day he resigned (-53) or Sunak's before he lost the 2024 election (-53)

I have an unexpected free night tomorrow, and am tempted by a ‘finish off some of the films I have started but not completed’ night.

I hate getting cold calls (even warm calls) so much that I've taken to writing this in enquiry forms: "Please do not call - newborn in house."

So far, so good!

A delightful and uplifting story about how UBI is helping artists in Ireland (note that despite it *saving* money, more than 8,000 applied).

We are seeking some really communicative play testers for our upcoming game, Clues in Sprues.

Bonus points if you have a strong Social Media presence, but we value feedback just as much! No prior experience needed.

I know it’s only February, but I’ve just finished “The Names” and think it’s already a book of the year. An extraordinary read. Brutal in places, but beautifully written and quite emotional (lots of trigger warnings) amzn.to/4kl0VsC

Blindboy referred to how we’ve all been conditioned to argue online as ‘turn-based combat’ & I can’t get it out of my head. That’s exactly what it is. A pointless gamified system that no one ever really wins, designed to keep us all busy fighting each other rather than the actual enemy

I’ve just heard Bartlett being described as “the trojan horse of misogyny” and honestly?

Brilliant #MinorIrritation solve today.

This STUPID jug has a built-in section which collects dishwasher water. ARGH!

Drilled two holes into the handle while warming my porridge. Problem solved.
