Today a friend mentioned that when she was at the Burbank/Hollywood Way post office this morning, armed government thugs were photographing everyone going in or out of the building for the ICE/Palantir ID database. When she put her hand in front of her face, the masked thug took a photo of her car's plate and VIN. Where are all those Republicans who were up in arms about government overreach during Biden's administration?

Update: My TikTok account is still being silenced. A post I made criticizing ICE shortly after Trump's Tik Tok takeover is still at 0 views. Since then, multiple unrelated videos are also stuck at zero. This isn't a glitch. It's censorship. As you can see, a censored version of that post performed better only because people came from other apps. It still wasn't shown on the TikTok FYP. Even neutral transit updates for my constituents are being suppressed. I'm an elected official. I use social media to share information that directly affects my constituents. And countless creators rely on TikTok for their livelihoods. Posting one thing critical of this regime shouldn't erase your reach forever. This is what tech power + authoritarian politics looks like. Hell no. Trump and his billionaire friends should not be able to silence dissent. Follow me on my other platforms for updates as I take this on. screenshot shows six tiktok videos where the plays alternate between zero if he criticized ice by referring to it as ice or 35,000 or 14,000. in cases where he used an ice cube instead of using the word. ice topics include saving Berry, a public transit, civilian in Minneapolis ice incident and the bill he wrote that lets you sue ice.
