Anyway, this conversation was born from talking to a group of younger people I know who were criticising every detail in the Super Bowl show and told me they didn’t care what politicians did because they were all “bad anyway”. Did they vote? “Voting never does anything.” Lads…

You want your celebrities to be morally pure and talk about every world crisis whilst ignoring the fascists in government engineering those world crises. Like are we all okay? Nigel Farage doesn’t get half the criticism people level at singers and actors.

At some point younger people are going to have to start admitting that they expect celebrities to do politicians jobs because they’ve given up on politicians and voting. Why do Bad Bunny’s perceived politics matter more than the Pedo President?

The “No one ever voted for Trump” phase is here already.

Yeah it's like me pretending to like The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog when I was 8.
Pretending you enjoy Kid Rock to “own the libs” is diabolical actually, that’s got to be the clearest sign I have ever seen that it is a cult. Please free yourself.

I think it’s hilarious that Trump watched Bad Bunny whilst he made them watch Kid Rock lmfao.

Oh I ✨wonder✨ what must have upset him *specifically* about the last one. 🤨🧐

Oh he has something new to complain about now I’m guessing lmfao.

You can demolish the Kennedy Centre for the Arts and name it after your favourite demagogue. You can flood social media with AI “art” slop and declare artists are finished. But artists are resilient and people need authentic, human created cultural moments. Only real artists can do that.

No matter what Conservatives do, how many liberal arts institutions they take over or how hard they manipulate social media - they are losers who will never be able popular enough to create true cultural impact. They can’t do what Bad Bunny or Kendrick Lamar did. And it drives them insane.

Imagine just how brainwashed you have to be to get mad over a message like “love is stronger than hate.” That should be their come to Jesus moment. But it won’t. They want to learn the hard way. So be it.

These people are such entitled babies, they made their own “halftime show” to soothe their tantrums.
February 9, 2026 at 8:38 AM
All the worst people in America are having a terrible time because of Bad Bunny’s Superbowl set, just like they had a terrible time last year because of Kendrick Lamar’s Superbowl set and I am HERE FOR IT. May they sob into their beige food all day.

People often say w/pride, 'I'm not interested in politics.' They might as well say, 'I'm not interested in my standard of living, my health, my job, my rights, my freedoms, my future or any future.' If we mean to keep any control over our world & lives, we must be interested in politics. -M Gellhorn
You may think you are apolitical but you will definitely be remembered for your politics.

i related to this poem so hard as a borderline
It’s the oldest story in the world. The Epstein Files reminded me of this piece I wrote on a devastating anniversary.

Anyway, I learned from an early age that no one will listen to you if you are a survivor. And even if they do, they’ll ask what you did to provoke them. And if you didn’t provoke them, then somehow you still deserved it. The world doesn’t want perfect victims, it wants erasure of the crime.

I don't talk about it anymore.

The president is now attacking a US Olympian as a “Loser” and misrepresenting his words for his mild unspecified criticisms about things going on in the US right now.
