Sorry to hijack but this has fucked me up so much and basically we should ALL be getting a free booster because no cold or flu has EVER done this to me. If I have to have an operation on my vocal folds that's a) terrifying and b) is unlikely to be quick on the NHS. I can't afford to go private.

I have no disabilities, got COVID at the end of June for the (at least!) fourth time, lost my voice and have now been having vocal problems for 3-and-a-half months...I have an extremely expensive diagnostic session next week coz this is impacting my work, my mental health (obvs) and my future.
