Unrelated to the op, but when I watched this movie with my husband, I gasped when I saw him hold up the 3 fingers, immediately knowing he gave himself away, since i grew up in Germany (army brat) and had to explain to my hubby that in Germany, 3 is thumb, index, and middle fingers.

To this day, it still amuses me that wierd Al basically guessed the entire plot of episode 1 based on internet leaks, cause he wrote the saga begins 2 months before the movie came out.

I didn't want to live in the darkness of my life/ birth circumstances, or the abuses that followed me because of how it shaped me. I decided I wanted to be happy, be authentically me, in all aspects of my personality, positive and negative.

When nothing matters in the grand scheme of things, it can become a freeing experience because we can try to find joy in the things that are around us and bring joy to those around us. And I don't mean in a toxic positivity sort of way. I've been in the dark places and I didn't like it.

I often feel the same way. We just gotta play with the hand we're dealt, though, yaknow? That's kind of where my "optimistic nihilism" comes in handy. I look at things and say "okay, what things do i have the power to change/ fix and what things do i just have to accommodate and live around?"

Trick or treating tonight, our little was michonne from #thewalkingdead, with me and hubby as her "pets". Our chains were carabiner-ed to her back belt loop, essentially acting as a toddler leash that was part of the costumes lol.

I love getting drunk with hubby after baby has gone to sleep, watching doomsday preppers together and yelling at the screen about how dumb the yeehaw preps are. Not me yelling "can you eat your guns? No! Learn to garden, n00bs!"🤣🤣🤣
