She's got a good design/vibe, but that's all she ever had back then - a fun personality won out for me. I know the Toads are humans originally etc., but I was just happy to see them again. The most fun Battletoads I've ever played, and I've played em all.

Before Battletoads 2020 (which I love), no one ever talked about the Dark Queen, much less how "great" a villain she was, cus she had the personality of an unwashed Idaho Russet.

I wanted to do a Yooka-Replaylee review, but after the lack of transparency with its Switch 2 release (amidst a very bumpy and deflating pre-release cycle), I'm currently in no mood to do so. I'd still like to try it, but I'll do so on my own time later down the line.

This was Demon Slayer from top to bottom, for better and for worse. Good visuals/acting, but a lotta characters self-narrating and flashbacks that stop the plot every 10 minutes, including the trademark “kill the badguy, get a 30 minute sob story immediately after” schtick. Still, good time out.
