It doesn’t matter what I think. Also, none of this would ever happen. But if I had a zillion dollars:

1. Run a “we do hard things” campaign across southern and rust belt states. Invest heavily in local, state and regional social infrastructure. Sponser later hours at a library, build a skate park…

If I were to sum up my advice to the Democratic party leadership about how to defeat Trumpism, it would be to set aside policy for now and focus instead on articulating a vision of what American society should look like and what role the US should play in a rapidly changing world today.

FOR THE RECORD: TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT, I often hear people saying Homophobic, Misogynistic or Racist statements are taken out of context. Then I hear them in context and in my 64 years of life, I have never seen there words become less, Homophobic; Misogynistic or Racist.

We all know it, they know that now we know it, they are just too corrupt to do anything different. Why would anyone vote for that even with our nation on fire?
For every hopeful glimmer, they prove over & over Democrats won’t save us, they’ll continue to use us to secure power they won’t use for us.

DEMOCRATIC NORMS: Trying to maintain Democratic Norms in the face of the worst possible situation. Not only is that a fools errand, the more you try, the more they will push in the opposite direction. We need to maintain our dignity and fight like hell to restore theirs. It’s all about dignity.

SERIOUS QUESTION: At one time in America, we did have Presidents that served more than two terms, it happened. Why can’t it happen again? I mean Roe V Wade was settled law till it wasn’t. Explain to me like I’m five, why the same can’t be true for a third tRump term. I don’t want that. But……

SOMETHING I WON’T SERIOUSLY DISCUSS: A president serving a third term. Could it happen, absolutely, it used to happen. It could again. The more we discuss it, the more it becomes possible. More and more people are discussing it. The Supreme Court has overturned settled law. They can again.
