SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

Finally, as a Palestinian-American, I sincerely hope that this is the first step on the long road to liberty for my people. I have faith — no, I know — that one day, our two peoples will look back and say this was a dark chapter in our shared history, as one.

It’s a moral affront that we’ve enabled Netanyahu’s genocidal war — we’re equally responsible. Reparations are a moral imperative. In the long-term, I believe that peace will enable the Palestinian people to build a sovereign state.

The Israeli government must also agree to assist in the reconstruction of Gaza, which has been reduced to a wasteland by bombing. The United States must also commit to the reconstruction effort as well.

Both parties must also commit to working together with the Arab League, the EU, and the United States to hold each other accountable.

I call on the international community to fully engage with the ceasefire, including developing a robust monitoring architecture and serious penalties for breaking it.

Just want to remind everyone that little moments of joy are so important right now.

For instance, my cat does not understand the human concept of kisses beyond Incoming Nose = Love. So every time she’s happy, she’ll smush her face or shove her nose into ours.

Today marks the two-year anniversary of the horrific October 7 attack.

As we mourn the 1,218 lives lost that day, let us also keep alive the dream of a lasting peace and a better future for all.

Ceasefire now. Every hostage must come home. And a safer world for everyone.

Trump’s order to deploy Texas National Guard troops to Chicago is illegal, immoral, and must be stopped by the courts. ICE is already wreaking havoc in our communities. Let’s call this what it is: an invasion by out-of-state troops coming here only with the purpose of tormenting Chicagoans.

KIYAC — our campaign’s Youth Advisory Council — organized a coat drive and car wash this weekend. We now have more than 80 coats on our mutual aid shelves in the campaign office!

But we need your help to make sure we’re prepared to help the community this winter.

Here’s what we need:
