Crazy Thoughts is back with another round of PS2 games and a look at the first 16 bit Megami Tensei title that I guess people like.

But who cares when y'all are now about to tell me how wrong I am about Jak II here!

Happy watching!

DO IT FOR THE VINE

(also never heard of this technique until reading about it, wonder how more efficient it is than other methods)

Not useful unless you really hate going around them hammer bros
Or keep losing lives to them
Or run out of space for items

I dunno it was kinda useful to me

Alright, now we're moving onto Volume 13, The Super Mario Bros. 3 Strategy Guide

Before they went true monthly, NP did these strategy guides in tandem with regular issues. As such we're pretty much gonna be focusing on art and some other tidbits here and there.

Prepare for Mario.

Before we move on, I will mention this Classified Informatiion supplement that came with Volume 12.

36 pages of random tips, never got scanned, couldn't read a lick of it unless I bought a used copy.

Cool cover though.

Sweeney Todd Rewatch -

Yeah it's still a delightful flick with an excellent goddamn cast and performances overall, acting or singing.

The dummies going down the shaft goof never gets old.

And that will end off Volume 12, which gives a preview for what's to come, the bimonthly issue with bonus Strategy Guide era, a VERY awkward phase for the magazine.

This didn't turn out super complicated at all as I'll explain in the next post but have a cool Mario for now.

Lemme hear from you

What are some multi entry video game franchises that are more-or-less totally dead but still deserve a spotlight in today’s age

Halloweentown High -

The first two were fun inoffensive family Halloween fluff and this was more of the same but something was missing that I couldn't quite put my finger on until we watched the trailer for the last one.

They don't go to Halloweentown in their Halloweentown film.

Fuck them kids

Silent Hill (2006) -

I think I admire the bizarre creative process that went into this thing more than the film itself.

As is, it's a slow as balls, jumbled up mess with some hilariously bad sound mixing and some fun stuff at the end.

Also you could cut out Sean Bean entirely and be fine.
