The political abstraction of the original meaning of "Antifa" is the exact same thing that happened to the word "Woke". To be "Woke" is to be "Awake". "Aware of your surroundings". To "Know things".
To be against "Woke" is to literally say "I prefer not understanding things".

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

At a family wedding where I don't know anyone. There's some really cool queer people here (no idea if i'm related to them or not), and I don't know how to approach them.
