Around the same time, I got a copy of the first Doctor Who annual at a jumble sale. The Fishmen of Kandalinga is one of those stories that could be told in 500 words told over 5000, but establishes that the Voord were not alien to Marinus and that their antennae are used for communication.

I always loved that they used the Yavin hangar as a promo shot, because it shows how truly low-budget the film was - you can see that the background X-Wings and Y-Wings are cardboard cutouts.
