Like it really is jarring seeing a trailer for it after watching because it shows there was definitely a considerable amount cut, even if small. I know that’s the case for most trailers but there’s a twist that comes out of nowhere like there was foreshadowing straight up taken out

I’m usually very lenient when it comes to films having a traditional structure but when something feels like it’s actively missing scenes or has no overall sense of continuum or momentum from scene-to-scene, I raise my eyebrows.

Case in point, Him (the football movie) managed to do just that
