This reminded me that Rian Johnson admitted that he used Catholic aesthetics in Wake Up Dead Man despite being raised evangelical Protestant because it was impossible to make what was basically a glorified Pottery Barn look gothic and cinematic
I do not get the aesthetic appeal of modern evangelical christianity and influencer churches. Just wearing the most beige activewear and listening to maroon 5 ballads at a decaf rave. Like choosing to support some truly evil shit in exchange for the artistic and lifestyle equivalent of saltines.

Saw IRON LUNG yesterday, and I enjoyed it! A little long and bloated, but an incredible freshman feature effort from and starring Markiplier. Might be one of the best video game adaptations out there. Solid and terrifying cosmic/aqua horror!
