9-noon Saturday and Sunday only. A Tacoma brick and mortar opening early 2026.
I do what I am able to oppose this regime because I want to be able to look my granddaughter in the eye when she is older and let her know that I was not a coward.
“Tell your children who the cowards were.”
Balloon Roof. They are at the Proctor Farmers Market today and are generally open in Fife from 9-noon.
We were recently in France and had a hard time finding a decent canele in Bordeaux, which was disappointing. We searched!! Finally had a good one from a small (excellent) neighborhood bakery. A local baker here in Tacoma makes such good ones I do not have to make them myself.
Oh, New York, I love you so. (You can take the girl out of New York, but you can’t take the New York out of the girl.)
I was on the subway last night about 8:30 coming home from dinner. It was jam packed with people going to the parade and various parties. And yeah, it was like this.
The music cuts off awkwardly before the end, but this is an incredible NYC Halloween costume compilation.
This is how it’s done.
Perfect response from @neguse.house.gov here. Watch this.
I love how Rep. Joe Neguse reframed this question.

Thought I’d throw this rock in the water. San Juan Islands, Mount Baker in the distance, taken in better weather than we are having now.
I prefer calling it The Epstein Wing myself.

Odd, how Laura Loomer has to speculate about what Hell must be like, whereas anyone who has ever had to spend time with her does not.
You forget that Barnabas continually confronted moral dilemmas about his vampirism while bloodless Stephen Miller doesn't blink an eye at his own evil doings.
And as a bonus, a higher candy to apple ratio!

Every few months now I re-read this "Who Goes Nazi?" piece from 1941 and am blown away by how it captures the people we are dealing with 80 years later.

Okay, BlueSky friends, I’m in Paris!! What should I see and where is the best croissant?
They were the bestest of BFFs.
Most excellent post! I applaud your ability to photograph sculpture, as I know it is not a simple task. Your explanations are great, too. It made me feel like I was there again.
Mr. Kovacs in his best guru pose asks you to ponder the meaning of #Caturday.
Meanwhile, Kovacs is reminded daily that Pushkin has no sense of the personal space of others.

Breathe, my friend. Five slow breaths. It won't change what's happening around you, but it might lower your blood pressure.
Mr. Pushkin (Kurilian Bobtail) and Mme. Foxy (Manx) agree that this situation warrants further investigation. And they rarely agree about anything. Sending furry love your way.
