Saw this last night in the theater with a friend. Probably the scariest film of the season. Absolutely chilling. Kinda funny that the whole packed room said “boooo” when President Weirdo was shown for a brief flash. People who love libraries and freedom of speech sure don’t like that strange old man

If you haven't had a chance yet, be sure to watch The Librarians.

Who would have ever thought the kind, mousy woman at the library would serve as the front line for a war our children are very much at the center of?

Take a moment to appreciate what they do; they are as surprised as we are!

Just watching the fantastic @thelibrariansfilm.bsky.social on BBC iPlayer. Such admiration for all those speaking out. I felt so proud of Weston Brown - what a wonderful young person.

I just saw The Librarians today at WNED Studios as part of the Buffalo International Film Festival. If you haven't seen it and are against book banning (which you should be if you're my friend), you should go see it as soon as it is available in your area. Infuriating that this is happening in 2025!

The incredible courage of the titular librarians in @thelibrariansfilm.bsky.social @bbciplayer.bsky.social #Storyville in the face of unimaginable abuse & threats is inspirational. Tempting to watch & think 'Well, this is crazy....it could never happen here...' But it's also a warning 😥 #BannedBooks

If this doc doesn’t light a fire under you to fight back against the conservatism attacking our rights to knowledge then I don’t know what will. This one made me so mad on behalf of the librarians.
