ty! yeah this one has been particularly bad so far, although i think part of that is just the scripted passenger sections early in the game - i get carsick irl in basically every moving vehicle i'm not driving and it's worse in movies/games

yeah - the FOV is as big as it'll go without messing around in config files (which i'm going to do next) and headbob is off, which helps with the walking around, but honestly i suspect any time i'm a passenger in a vehicle it's just suffering time lol

honestly i find patching really, REALLY difficult, significantly more difficult than making something new, but i want to replace fewer things so i have to get over it. but also i think fabric patches are kinda ugly, so i think i'm going to try making a woven patch instead lol

...slash like. at least we do GET ethics in engineering lol, even if it's a joke. i studied chem eng and we did explicitly get taught about reactor disasters and reactor safety and how to not kill everyone in a plant, all of which is, you know. good.

i do think the way eng schools teach ethics is a fucking joke, but also based on what i've heard from friends i think that's kind of a true thing across most disciplines

i get where people are coming from when they say stuff like "the problem is STEM majors who don't read books" and stuff, but also genuinely lol irl at the idea that people who study humanities are more enlightened
