Count Sargon is Cy's main rival in the art scene and Reggie is Ari's toxic ex who's currently working as an airship scientist.

A10. Ari lost his parents young, leaving him the sole provider to his younger brother, Angelio. Ari also deals w depression, guilt/shame, trauma and extreme anxiety.

Cy has been thru familial, spousal and various abuse throughout his childhood and early 20s. He's quiet about it.

A9. Ari is kind to a fault. Even at his most cynical, he chooses kindness cuz he sees what happens to ppl in a world that can be cruel.

Cy feels things deeply -- both love and hate. This leans into him either being vicious or protective to those he cares/despises.
