After a neighbor was hit by a driver and sent to the hospital at 35th and Alaska these cones appeared creating extra space for people crossing at the intersection. Today SDOT removed the cones without making any changes to the intersection.

Cones create a curb bulb at a crosswalk and narrow the road leading up to the intersection
