Demand good faith behavior. Make sure to state that leaders who can't be honest are unfit and that our system depends upon elected officials who argue and act in good faith. Define the term and then challenge Republicans by asking them if they can speak and act in good faith.

And you do it not just to make it clear when corruption is being covered up but to try and cause dissention among Republicans. Trump demands absolute loyalty. Mock the behavior. Label it as a form of weakness. Focus on being critical of repeated bad faith behavior as much as the underlying issue.

One way you defeat some the illusory appeal of authoritarians is that you demonstrate that they're too weak to answer questions honestly and in good faith. They can't handle talking let alone governing.

STEPHANOPOULOS: I didn't insinuate anything. I asked you whether Tom Homan accepted $50k as was heard on an audio tape recorded by the FBI in September 2024. You did not answer the question. Thank you for your time.

VANCE: No, George, I sai--

Someone should read grievances from the Declaration of Independence in front of Mike Johnson but say it's from a No Kings group while asking him about the upcoming protest. I'd give it a high likelihood Johnson could unwittingly denounce the Declaration of Independence.

Mike Johnson: "This hate America rally that they have coming up for October 18? The antifa crowd, the pro-Hamas crowd, and the Marxists, they're all gonna gather on the Mall. It is an outrageous gathering for outrageous purposes ... all this has gotta come to an end."

It's basically a giant red flag that says "I don't know how to do my job". These kinds of bosses end up creating a work environment where at best people do the minimal amount of work to not get fired.

imagine management is supposed to be. Usually that entails looking for things to be angry about instead of doing what they're actually supposed to do which is to help employees do their work. This applies more to middle management than CEOs but Weiss probably more similar to middle management.
thereitgoes.bsky.social
There are people who get promoted to be management who don't understand their role, the job itself irrespective of the organization, other roles at the organization, the general structure of production at that organization, etc. These managers look to justify their position based on what they

But I think the Gene Sharp book and videos you posted is more instructive.

I can't remember if 5g posted it or Franklin's ghosts 10 months ago or so. It's about Otpor so it overlaps quite a bit with what you posted but I found it instructive.

It's entirely possible and very probable but someone else noted that he isn't posting videos on social media. Obviously that's because they don't exist but that also leads me to wonder if he knows he is just lying. As we all know, he commits to lies.

Either way, it demonstrates he is unfit.

We gave Saddam Hussein a lot of military equipment too. Is it good to provide foreign autocrats with sophisticated weapons? Is it really in our national interests to do so? There are issues of all kinds of corruption associated with these things, quite obviously.

But they are certainly complicated.

From a security perspective it's probably better to train foreigners here in the US we want to train.

Qatar hosts the largest US military base in the Middle East. These things are complicated. Do we want nations turning to Russia or China to purchase military equipment? Are there broader risks?

Stephen Miller is murdering Venezuelans and Colombians in cold blood bc he believes it helps his propaganda campaign to paint Latinos as dangerous.

Stephen Miller views the air strikes as an opportunity to paint immigrants as a dangerous menace, according to one of the White House officials.

Fascism requires its participants to reject their humanity, reject their agency, reject reality and reason itself. So it follows that fascism would also need to exclude art that embraces the full scope of our human experience.

Maybe this is why fascist art tends to concern itself so much with the

It's interesting the parallels between the Futurist movement of the 1930s and fashwave art today though the latter is far more lazy hollow AI slop.

Maybe fascism tries to promote itself more though a hollow aesthetic than "art" depending on what we mean by the term.

I think you're right given

What Governor Pritzker is doing is right for his state, but it is vital for the Republic.

Centuries go from 1-100 because we don't start with a zero index. 1 AD followed 1 BC. I believe Dionysius Exiguus used Roman numerals which is not a positional system or a continuum and lacks the number zero. There was no year zero just as there was no zeroth century.

Just FYI, the year 2000 was the last year of the 20th century and is not a year included in the 21st century.
