His writing for the movie novelizations seems to get semi better with each book. Very weird & stilted tone to the character conversations & inner monologues lol.

Aliens: Bishop by TR Napper does a much better job of capturing one of the movie characters’ vibes

Reading the novelization for the movie Aliens, by Alan Dean Foster.
Overall somewhat better than his novelization for Alien but not great.
A strange feature of this book- PG language only. It’s so fucking weird having Ripley & the colonial marines facing alien monsters & not even saying darn.
