So instead we see the last resort for a debt-laden pubco.

Good, profitable (just no longer profitable enough now that the tenants are doing ok!) pubs simply sold off, with the long-suffering tenants (who generate all the wealth) thrown in as little more than goods and chattels.

Presumably this is because a Section 25 no fault eviction is not an option any time soon.

After all, that would be the normal way of dealing with a pesky tenant who has had the temerity to secure a Free of Tie deal and thus secure themself a fair income from their own business.

Why would a pubco seek to flog off 23 #pub freeholds along with good long term tenants?

Surely not because these are fair Free of Tie leases which no longer allow the excessive profit extraction that underpins the entire over-leveraged tied pubco model..?

Once at chronic risk of loss, it seems The Vine, Pithill has ended up in truly safe hands.

People still crave true #community locals, and #independent ownership is the absolute ideal.
