Just watched the most recent episode of The Lowdown and honestly got a little choked up when Graham Greene showed up in a small role. Had to be one of the last things he did.
Despite trying their hardest to blow it in the fourth quarter, Bulls win. Overall, a sloppy game by both teams. That said, it was good to see Ayo come back strong from his surgery last season and Buzelis looked good. Still have to be concerned that the best player tonight was Vucevic.
Welp, the world's going to hell in a hand-basket, might as well watch the first game of what promises to be a punishingly bad season for the Bulls.
For the love of Dog, please stop sharing that racist AI commercial!
Ayo must really be under a severe minutes restriction tonight. Only reason I can think of that Tre Jones is starting over him. #Bulls
Yeah, I just subscribe to NBA TV. I get almost all the games for every team, so it’s worth it to me, even with another mediocre Bulls team.

And yeah, Giddey seems like jerk. But I still got Ayo and Coby (for the time being) and I’m enjoying Buzelis while he still just comes off like a sweet himbo.

Love when a job you applied for in--checks notes--July, gets back to you a week before Halloween to say they were hiring someone else. Gee folks, I thought I still had a chance!

Hence the cheat. The black and white version was a special feature on one of the physical releases.
I was waiting for someone to make this joke.
Belated apologies to Jon Morosi, as Ohtani has boarded a plane to Toronto
They want to talk to me on the phone this Friday for some follow-up questions. At least this means I'm still in the running.
I'm deeply unhappy about where I'm living right now, but if I don't get this job I'm waiting to hear back about, I think I'm going to have to put the job hunt on pause for a year and sign a new lease here. That would be massively bad for my mental health, but I don't see any other option.
Ouch. I can barely remember three movies that Rachael Leigh Cook was in.

Can you name a Tom Hanks movie based on a book?

Watched THE PREDATOR. Not sure why everyone hated on it so intensely. It’s stupid and overstuffed with too many characters, but I’d put on par with part 2 and PREDATORS. Meaning brainless silliness that scratches a specific action-horror itch.
I've just up and moved several states away without a job waiting for me four times in my life. Despite having fewer attachments than ever before, I can't get away with that now. As a cancer survivor now, I need to maintain health insurance at all costs.
There's such uncertainty in what the economy holds because of everything the orange menace is doing. That goes doubly for working in higher education. My job is stable for the foreseeable future, so that's really all I have going for me. I need a perfect job & location combo to make a move.

Heads up, they're playing the long version of The Sisters of Mercy's This Corrosion on @chirpradio.org right now!
When you're waiting to hear about a job you've had two interviews for and you get a call from that area code that turns out to be spam. Oh, the rage. I cannot even express how angry I am.

Often think about the scene in ROCKY when Mickey shows up, hat in hand, making his pitch to be Rocky's trainer. In the middle of a tense, emotionally brutal scene for both characters, Mickey sees Rocky's pet turtles and with perfect comic timing by Burgess Meredith, says "What the hell are those?"

If you could go back in time and not kill Hitler but prevent the formation of exactly one major company, which one would would you target to do the most good for the future?
