The truth is that Trump is held to a uniquely & pathetically low standard by his voters. Trump’s voters treat him like a spoiled child. There is zero chance that US companies continue to eat the tariffs. Smaller companies can't, and the big ones who afford to will place their stock holders over their customers. They've all been holding back, hoping TACO Trump will backtrack or come up with solutions, but they won't do this forever.
