Hi new followers!
Most of y'all probably found me on transpo packs! I do it professionally, have on occasion been called an expert on certain things, & it's a passion not just a job.

But I rarely have much to add that others haven't already said. So mostly I post shower thoughts & irreverence.

The White House is part of the National Park Service & protected by Section 106 of the Historic Preservation Act of 1966.

Don't get me wrong: I do not care about the building. I care that this act states he is above the law & the people. It has the same message as his AI fighter jet shitpost.
I can't really explain fully why this is the thing of all things that got my jaw on the floor but I guess it's such a literal symbol and also such a jaw dropping amount of money while small businesses are struggling to survive the tariffs

Such a visible "go fuck yourself"
Scoop: Trump has started demolishing the White House's East Wing facade to build his ballroom. The president had claimed construction of the $250 million building wouldn’t ‘interfere’ with the existing White House structure. /W @ddiamond.bsky.social wapo.st/4hqBNiU

Right beside the "GOOD BYE" I really think Ouija boards need to add "SEE YOU SOON" to the options on the board.
Endings I keep imagining for Alice in Borderland:

- They get to the end: it's just AI in a malfunctioning brain stimulator

- They step through an exit, before them a candy paradise, a man in a purple hat approaches.

- They step though a portal: there is Brennan Lee Mulligan.
Twenty years in DC and I've never seen for-profit street photographers, but tonight there's like one every 10 feet

...and every single one is so bad at it. Zero composition, non-existent strobe technique, and only half have any showmanship.

I feel like this is a market I need to get in on
Standing in the Borderland temple drawing fortunes wondering what'd happen with these answers:

An answer 0.00001 off to see what a fractional error does

"Negative one" to see if we can trigger an integer underflow

"One googol raised to the googol" to try and collapse the source into a singularity

Stranger - This might be a weird question but have you passed by anyone who smells like eggs? It would've been like 2 or 3 minutes ago.

Me - Was it really really good scrambled eggs?

Stranger - Yeah!

Me - Like one minute ahead of you that way.
I once got on at Greenbelt, fell asleep as we approached College Park, and woke up as we were leaving Greenbelt.

Hey remember when the CDC dropped 6 of the 8 foodborne illnesses from the nationwide monitoring system in July and one of them was listeria? Mentioning for no particular reason www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...
This is why I only buy true American downholstery
I'm sure it'll be fine. Not like disease has ever been an issue with armies and navies.
The Pentagon has stepped back from the policy that requires all troops to get the flu shot every year by introducing exemptions for reservists and proclaiming that the shot is only necessary in some circumstances for all service members, according to a document obtained by the AP.

I always have to consciously think about how to pronounce "ephemeral"

If you ever hear me talking about who you can only assume is some old trucker guy I know from PA named Ephraim Errol then just know that's me forgetting that I can't pronounce "ephemeral"

"Why are the Guard deployed in neighborhooda with little crime?"

"To let police redeploy elsewhere"

"Right but there weren't many police deployed there to begin with. And how are 30 Guardsmembers in a scenic park full of picnickers a better use of resources than one cop who stops by occasionally?"
