Make it a point to use your white privilege to be a neighborhood watch that can document, intervene, and draw attention to ICE. A shrill whistle drawing attention of local people standing by can be incredibly effective resistance! Make ICE feel watched, be there for your community.

White people, I got something very, very simple you can do to help with this ICE situation. Do you go outside? To commute, to work, to just get a walk in? BRING A WHISTLE. A loud one. If you're in a largely Latino neighborhood, make it a point to be near your non-white neighbors.

In the same way that donating to your fellow queer artists $5 directly is more quick relief when SNAP is shut down and food banks are overwhelmed, donating directly to a person or family in need in Gaza allows them to prioritize what they need and get it quicker.

You don't have a lot to lose from boosting while you wait for a response. You can always undo a repost you're wary of being a scam, later. Try to replace that boost with someone verified. The charities have trouble getting necessities to people there, due to Israel. Direct donations may go further.

A few tips about reaching out to people from Gaza:
1. Most of them speak English as a second language. They are from a different culture. They might not always know certain phrases or references.
2. The internet in Gaza is a bit unreliable at best. You might be waiting for a reply. Boost anyway.
