In town for AFN? Join us at The Kobuk this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to have your voice heard by Gubernatorial candidate, Tom Begich. We will have hot chocolate and goodies for you as well as a collection point for dry goods for the hard hit areas of Western Alaska.

If you are able to donate clothing and dry goods, please come see us at The Kobuk this Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and we will transport the goods in a tote to Lynden for shipment out to Western Alaska. Every bit helps.

Instead, let us also commit to ending poverty and to truly invest in education in Alaska, where 1 in 3 Alaska Native children live in poverty and 1 in 5 do not finish high school. It is not enough to honor Alaska Native’s today if we neglect their needs tomorrow. (2/2)

One that's affordable, true to our share of Alaska’s oil wealth, and puts the 'permanent' back in Permanent Fund Dividend.

As #SuicidePreventionMonth ends, my thoughts are with our veterans, LGBTQ+ youth, and Alaska Native community. The deaths your communities endure are appalling, and I grieve your losses with you. Alaska is facing an epidemic of suicide, it’s time we acted like it.
