Our Prime Minister has never spoken in a manner that fawns over Donald Trump. He has been very diplomatic. He certainly can’t turn around and be completely critical. At the same time. He’s not the type of prime minister that would be a sycophantic arse licker

Why does the ABC hang on to this outdated thing called #insiders.
This is just sad. David Speers and Melissa McIntosh. Pure tosh.

Melissa McIntosh says she agrees with “both” anti-immigration colleague Andrew Hastie that Australians feel like strangers in their own country & pro-immigration colleague Paul Scarr that migration is needed
I believe this is what is known as having your cake & eating it too🍰🙄 #Abc

You expect more intelligence from somebody that has a senator in the Australian government instead of threatening to burn down the house as a parliament

Australia is much better than this rubbish that she’s putting out

Big business is raking in record profits while dodging tax, working people carry the load.
In fact 28% of large companies paid zero tax for the Financial Year.
It’s time big business stepped up and paid their fair share so we can fund the schools, hospitals and services every Australian relies on.

To increase rental supply, in 2022-23 Brisbane Mayor Adrian Schrinner increased rates on those properties operating in the short-term accommodation market. In 2024 conversation permits were required. Then it went quiet. Has this policy helped? #qldpol www.abc.net.au/news/2024-06...
Permits required for Brisbane landlords turning their homes into 'mini-hotels', Airbnbs
Brisbane landlords will need to apply for a permit before they can list their home for short-term accommodation, including Airbnb, the city's lord mayor has announced.

The idea that Australians were better off under the Coalition is a myth. Wage growth was stagnant, debt ballooned, and public services were cut. Labor has delivered real cost-of-living relief, stronger Medicare, and better support for education and families. Let’s stick to facts, not slogans.

Qld's pie chomping premier David Crisafulli changed the crime reporting metric. He promised to resign if there weren't fewer victims (later changed to per capita). Not accurate, criminologists say & at least a full year of ABS stats needed; due Sept 2026. #qldpol🔗 www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...
Jacinta Allan urged to copy Queensland and get ‘tough on crime’ as Victoria battles crisis

12 October 2025 - 10:53AM

Sky News host Rita Panahi has blasted Victoria which is in the midst of a “record-breaking crime wave” as ordinary citizens become “increasingly terrified”.

Ms Panahi looked at some “stunning” statistics from Queensland, which show the Crisafulli’s tough on crime policies are working.

“Queensland has shown that there is another way,” Ms Panahi said.

“Instead of harebrained schemes like machete bins or raising the age of criminal responsibility, Queensland has got tough on crime and criminals, and the results speak for themselves.”

This is our health system under the LNP.

Labor was building thousands of beds that would reduce ramping, but under the LNP hospital construction from Cairns to Coomera has ground to a halt for political point scoring.

Melissa McKintosh on ABC Insiders can anyone tell us what she is on about because she hasn’t a clue ??

The LNP are promoting themselves as the party of the future as they roll out Tony Abbott and John Howard on an endless cycle. Recycling rubbish is rabidly retrograde.
Akin to putting corrugated iron on the roof and discarding solar panels
