The Dems have to survive in the media environment as it is, with the voters who actually exist. So it's very much a Dem problem if they can't convince voters that they want those voters to have the kinds of lives those voters want.

I think it did! I kinda feel the same. And the first broadcast TV I did get to watch was, weirdly, X-Files which DEFINITELY served as an inoculation to soooo much of what's been in the water over the past decades

I definitely have multiple children and I think I'm having a harder time with my tween than I ever did with the babies. I'll grant that I had relatively chill babies but many people do!

I mean if you don't care what your tween grows up to do or be I guess from a "will they die if I leave them alone y/n" perspective older kids are easier but the neat thing about "keep toddler from drinking detergent" is it's a job literally anyone can do. Don't even have to speak the same language
