Buttercup heard that word before. She associated it when Blossom was trying to explain some sciencey stuff about an earthquake monster. But putting two-and-two together, she started to gradually understand.

The spice of the group would boldly proclaim, sticking out her chest and lifting her head into the air. She hasn't exactly... tested that though.

Buttercup spat back, arms folding close to her chest in a huff. The freedoms of growing older meant that the limits of bedtime were being broken gradually.

The future is now, and she's exercising these new rights however she pleases!

Well, Buttercup's idea of a patrol, anyways. She always suggested they should go out at night like symbols of justice, putting fear into the hearts of bad guys, but...

That never really went over well with the team, so this is a much tamer version of that.

Without noticing, she begins to idly hover in place, using the air itself as a bed. Flight is one of the powers that seem to make her the most comfortable.
