to this day I still don't really know what people (in fandom) mean when they say 'angst' and I'm starting to get the feeling it is basically similar to the way people throw around the word 'slop'

everytime I see ppl say it, it feels very reductive, like it's trying to discredit writing as shallow

I wish it was easier to sift through twitch vods because trying to find the point in a stream where you show up for like 3 minutes in a 5+ hour stream is pain, especially with twitch app's UI

So far the reaction to it has been either, not really noticing or paying attention, or "YO 😳" although I don't know if any streamer will ever acknowledge the Mizuki part because that is a more specific reference that not a lot of the playerbase would get 😔

So I've been playing CrossWorlds in the Mizuki Trans Hatsune Miku Minecart and I've started seeing names in my lobby that I recognize and then like, lo and behold they are in-fact someone I know and I've shown up on their streams lol

Anyway I hope the game gets patches at a reasonable rate instead of just implamenting one when they need to load in the next months worth of content onto the game because I think a lot of bug fixes, netcode repair and balancing is in order now that the FULL extent of the playerbase size is in swing

But that ends up scrunching the schedule of 2 festivals very close together, I assume the schedule will become normal as it goes on, so Joker will be relatively around the ladder half of the month, then Spongebob early next month followed by Ichiban late next month, and so on

The only reason there was the Miku and Minecraft festivals so close together was probably just because of release window because the game came out on Sept 25th and they wanted some wiggle room for normal online play before a festival hit

and now people just have assumptions about their plans off of a buncha internal stuff that get simplified into bullet points and cherry picked info that spreads online and that just really sucks as a game developer I'd imagine :/

I don't know I don't think it's really all that cool if you're just flat out throwing out internal planning for future games and whatnot

It's really unfair to them and doesn't really give them the chance to present their own games on their own terms

So apparently the person who did the pokemon gigaleak still had more stuff and explicitly decided to hold it until the release of ZA and part of me feels like that's like, really petty

like it just kinda feels like the leaker just wanted attention and clout for leaking big projects
