To me, it’s much easier to see that what’s really wrong with American culture right now is the slow-drip infusion of toxic masculinity it’s been receiving since 2016, the year of the “Grab ’em by the pussy” leak, and “Trump that bitch,” and “Such a nasty woman.”

**Description of the Sequoia Tree in Kings Canyon National Park**

You’re standing before a colossal giant—an ancient sequoia tree, towering hundreds of feet into the sky. Its trunk is impossibly wide, easily as broad as a small cabin, and deeply furrowed with thick, vertical grooves. The bark is a mix of warm reddish-brown and charcoal black, the latter likely from surviving past forest fires. Despite the scars, the tree stands proud and alive, a testament to centuries of resilience.

At the base, a large hollowed-out section opens like a cave, big enough for several people to stand inside. This natural alcove is dark and smooth inside, shaped by time, weather, and fire. The air around the tree is cool and earthy, filled with the scent of pine needles and damp wood. A fallen log lies nearby, its surface soft with moss and decay, reminding you of the cycle of life in this ancient forest.

Surrounding the sequoia are other tall conifers, their green needles forming a high canopy that filters sunlight into dappled patches on the forest floor. A simple wooden fence encircles the area, guiding visitors respectfully around the tree without disturbing its roots. The atmosphere is hushed, reverent—like entering a natural cathedral.
