"By the time she died at the age of 79, she had as strong a star persona as her original screen fashion idol Katharine Hepburn — the kind that made inattentive viewers assume she was just playing herself." Wherein I write about the incomparable Diane Keaton. www.vulture.com/article/the-...
The Unfading Beauty of Diane Keaton
For over five decades, cinema bent itself around her profoundly original image. It had no choice.

For comparison's sake, that night's SHARK TANK on ABC at 10 notched a 0.22 in L+3 A18-49, while Fox's 8 and 9 p.m. game shows averaged a 0.29 and 0.32, respectively.

Top 3 demo shows for the night?

In viewers, GOLDEN BACHELOR notched.a mere 2.6M L+3, ranking 9th among all network shows. It even finished below Fox's THE FLOOR (2.8M).

While it's possible it's over performing on Hulu, the current season of THE GOLDEN BACHELOR is off to a shaky start for ABC.

The show's Oct. 1 episode averaged a 0.21 in A18-49 even after three days of DVR replays, finishing last behind EVERY other show on the Big 4 nets that Wednesday

I wish I was surprised that Deadline claims it asked questions that were actually asked by me and other journalists at this James Gunn press conference. No one from Deadline even *submitted questions* for it (and I know, because I moderated). This is just brazen and sad.

Typos aside, there is simply no such thing.

ECGs are not an indicator of age.

They literally do not contain that information, either directly or indirectly.

This is just made up gobbledygook.

So, my question is: why?

The New York Times this week published a (detailed) story about Noem trashing a random country music singer for a song lyric she didn’t like. It has not covered Noem’s unprecedented use of official channels to spread political propaganda/lies.

Can you think of a single movie in which there is a video from the government denouncing its political opponents playing on a loop in public spaces in which that government was the good guy?

WGN just aired a report on this just now and blurred her face and did not announce her name, saying it is "station policy" not to name or show people who are "not charged".

This story has been picked up by multiple news outlets, including the Chicago Tribune and the Fox-owned station in the city.

You know which Chicago outlet doesn't appear to have a story about this on its website?

I have theories, but...
tvmojoe.bsky.social
WGN does still have its 2023 press release touting Brockman's Emmy win for the station.

And I'm sure it WILL cover this at some point. But it's hard not to wonder why the station has issued a statement-- a very non-specific, non-committal one-- about this but NOT covered it on its own website.

Right? Actually don't think it's meant to be clickbait; it's clear once you get past the first sentence or if you look at the link that it's a movie review. I think it's just sloppily written. It happens! But, still: oy!
