I think I still like the Titan Dweevil more fight wise but it does kinda just feel like it kinda comes outta no where.

The buildup for Sirehound feels deliberate with talk of another dog creature and Louie actually talking to you as you delve deeper into the final cave which I like a lot more

Oh huh. Personally I felt the build up to it was better than the Titan Dweevil, only thing I kindaaaa didnt like about that was that we're shown it's silhouette before encountering it. Would've made it a bit more of a surprise that it's actually MASSIVE and not just similar in size to Oatchi

The Sirehound got me a near total Pikmin extinction purely due to the final phase on my first playthrough bc I didnt expect it to roar again so it's gotten my respect. Also idk it's just fun to run around it, feels like a very active fight, even more fun when doing No Oatchi challenge runs!

I dont think the Maestro is like terrible, I think it was a very cool idea but poorly done which wouldn't be a problem if it didnt take up an entire quarter of the day and went down quicker.

Also I dont really agree with the Sirehound being even close to terrible but I aint gonna knock ur opinion

See that's why I dont think the Pikmin 2 Emperor is the worst. Bc at least he dies in 2 seconds and it's over and done with rather the Maestro who wastes 3 mins of ur time on a fight that isnt hard in the slightest

At least other not so great bosses go down quickly or have some excitement, this one ur just kinda sitting around waiting for it to attack and then getting cucked by damage caps till it dies...

Imma be honest, the Scornet Maestro might be the worst boss in the Pikmin series.

Like dont get me wrong it's an AWESOME concept but the execution is so slow and boring and easily cheeseable by just having 2 captains. Really quite a shame tbh...
