That's fair I suppose, I just think it's a bit silly to worry about that from a Pikmin short that isnt canon and will most likely not effect the games themselves.

God I hope Close To You is an omen and tease that more Pikmin Shorts are being made in the future. It's just really exciting to know for once that Pikmin still has new stuff coming out rather than being left in the dark with nothing interesting for 10 years AGAIN

Only thing they've lost really is their slightly disturbing and creepy factor that they originally were going for but that's been long lost since like Pikmin 3 and even kinda started to happen in Pikmin 2 with the ads and promotional material
