2. Father Virginus' eulogy for my father espoused the perseverance, trials, and tribulations of immigrants (Father Virginus was born in Cameroon). He hugged me after the service. The administration wants to eliminate visa programs that support foreign candidates for PhDs and postdoctoral fellows.

1. My father's funeral was this week. This morning, I attended my first @nihvigils.bsky.social with my family. I shared my father's story. My father immigrated from South Korea. This was possible with #NSF funding. I know we are sister agencies, but science is under attack in multiple departments.

If you want a more comprehensive answer, I recommend the #NIH Starter Pack. Though to my knowledge, I and only one other NIHer are trained statisticians, and the answers will vary based upon the activity codes.

That's way before my time! But I imagine it still takes almost a year to prepare, and then upon submission, I'll guess a year for the NOA. That's how it was when I was a contractor, and this was when you still had to mail stuff in, and if you didn't make the deadline, you'd get a courier.
