I have noticed a significant increase in belligerent driving the last 5 years or so. Road rage is like the standard now, I’m always surprised when someone kindly lets me in a lane or leaves a gap at a red light , even when it is the lawful thing to do.

I’d have given anything for my Oma to not have passed away in 2016, but I’m grateful she never saw trumps America. It breaks my heart every day that my Opa has lived long enough to see the country slide into fascism, and it hurts more that he won’t live long enough to see it through the other side.
