GovCamp is looking for suggestions of solicitors or equivalent organisations who can help put us on a more formal legal footing. We'd like an ideally free initial consultation followed by us paying them to do the paperwork for the new org.

@ukgovcamp.bsky.social is in a position at the moment where we're looking to put the organisation on a firm legal footing. Before we do that we're looking for a small group of people to help us decide if we want to just do one event a year or potentially branch out into more things.

The Ministry of Justice use security portals. The smaller ones can fit someone standing with a wheeled "cabin bag". The larger portals can fit someone sitting a wheelchair or standing with large checked baggage.

We tried to find a dry, non-alcoholic venue for Friday and Saturday night #ukgc25 socials, but they were too small, too expensive or not available. We're really sorry.

So we'll be at The Feathers, 18-20 Broadway, Greater, London SW1H 0BH from 5pm both evenings.
