Enjoyed my 7hrs of corridor camp 🤩 #ukgc26

After a year of being heads down on a major delivery, it’s refreshing to get out and be reminded there’s more out there beyond Homes for Ukraine 😅

Loved the energy and positive vibes 💚

Great to be hosted by a council for #ukgc26 - public services all come together around people in places 🫶🏽

Birmingham-bound friends on the lookout for a breakfast spot: Medicine, New Street.

Go on, treat yo’self 💛
Still thinking about the Medicine chocolate babka I had for breakfast

Looking forward to @ukgovcamp.com 😍

I find pitching too much pressure, so I’ll likely spend the day lingering the corridors.

Hmu if you want to hear about how we’ve moved away from a big US supplier to our own gov-owned system 🙌🏻 or anything design/culture/strategy related - I’m here for all of it!

Genius! 🤩
Are you a people pleaser who doesn't know how to say no?
I present to you No as a service: an API that returns a random rejection reason

#localgov friends, does anyone know Fiona from Traitors? Dying to learn a bit more about this woman and her chaos tactics 😅

With the Traitors having a "secret Traitor", I am excited for the British public to conveniently remember how to use singular They/Them pronouns for a month.

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

Highs and lows of 2025, because life isn’t always a highlights reel 😌🧵

Wow academic referencing is even more of a pain than I remembered

My boyfriend asked me last night what I wished for in 2026, and I simply said ‘more peace’.

I’m excited for a year of slowing down, being more present, enjoying life as it is rather than always stretching for the next milestone. That probably also means being less online 😌😌

I didn’t expect 2025 to be the year I fell in love, but sometimes life surprises you 🥰

Met the parents today who were so lovely and welcoming. I feel very lucky 💚

Another day, another dangerously overcrowded crosscountry train.

I’ve had to alight at Birmingham to breathe after 2 hours of horrendously cramped conditions, and will continue my journey when it’s (hopefully) less busy later 😔

In 2026 we are reinstating the regular One Team Gov breakfast club in London and also running a virtual one for anybody who doesn't have a meetup near them.

If you're interested you can sign up for both using the link (and please retweet/skeet!)

Writing useful feedback isn’t difficult, but it takes time (15-20 mins per candidate).

Why bother?
- giving non specific feedback gives candidates a poor impression of your org / you, and they may skip over future opps
- we have an opportunity to help good people who aren’t yet good at interviewing
Spent an entire afternoon yesterday writing up interview feedback for a recent campaign.

Because candidates who’ve taken the time to write an application and prepare for an interview deserve personalised and actionable feedback.

Crawling to the end of 2025. Mentally and emotionally exhausted.

But we’ve done very good work this year. Proud as punch ✨
