In May 2025, Welsh Government announced that they would be implementing the recommendations of the pay review body for NHS Agenda for Change staff, including a 3.6% pay uplift. UNISON members in Wales have said that 3.6% is not enough. The trade unions are seeking further talks with Welsh Government to improve upon the award and put money in the pockets of hard working NHS staff.
