👏 👏 👏 Amazing news from Dorset, where trusts have scrapped plans to chuck 1,700 staff into a subsidiary company, putting them at risk of worse pay and conditions after workers overwhelmingly backed strikes to save their jobs.

Mental health counsellors took their strike protest to Hellesdon Hospital, Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust's main site, today.

NSFT has commissioned Mind to run its services but apparently doesn't want any say over how they're run.

Take a moment today to mark the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition.

It doesn’t commemorate a moment of enlightenment on behalf of the slavers, but the day Haitian slaves started to throw off their chains in 1791.
