I get that. I hate focusing on bad people/things as well. This book is well-written which makes it go by faster.

And reading a paper book is a different experience than doom scrolling.

I normally wouldn't seek out a political book but this one has been a pleasant surprise.

It matters what happens in California.

It's a big state population-wise & economically. What happens there can ripple across the country.

Their housing shortage has become Tennessee's displacement problem.

So it is very good that they're creating laws to encourage housing.
