Me neither, it was just an attempt at making a comparably shitty attitude the other way. Women don't dehumanise men the way men do to women in my experience.

I can only imagine this guy's reaction to a moderately attractive 30 year old woman complaining she's only getting attention from "5s and 6s" and she can't be motivated to get pretty for anything less than an 8. I imagine he'd be less sympathetic than he wants us to be.

They're already getting some open support from GCs, it's only a matter of time. This is a movement led by a few elites more than it is by consensus. If you think women can't be made to campaign against our own interest you're wrong. They already have a recipe for success, it'll be easier next time.

*This* Labour party is an outright wing wing party. Their history does not matter. I'd argue they've been centre-right since Blair, but Starmer's Labour is as right wing as the Tories were just a couple of years ago. At least.

this is an interesting piece but i would argue we're already there. if you're disabled, trans, an immigrant then we're already living under an authoritarian government wielding state power with the express intent to persecute and cause harm.

This is the danger we face. Not an authoritarianism that arrives overnight, but one that is painstakingly assembled by governments of every stripe – until the day it falls into the hands of those more than willing to use it.
