I figured it out.. Observational drawing from both 3d models and other very good drawings helped a lot. That excersize I did with Elias was also eye opening, and I realized I had a lot of trouble representing the face in side, front, and bottom planes.

I figured something out, but I want to practice more. It's a brush that ignores pen pressure for opacity, and only focuses on a set brush density value. This took around 2 hours.

I want to paint softer transitions, but my pen is kind of broken (doesnt register low pressure inputs) and I dont want my transitions to be painted too uniformly... I might experiment with layering low opacity brushstrokes over themself, so I have a method that doesnt require pen pressure to paint-
