Fresh intro! I'm 50, queer, married, ethically non-monogamous

Pretended to be a straight boy til egg shattered @ 31. HRT @ 37. Super fem binary trans woman ages 38-45. Bottom surgery @ 46. Now non-binary. Usually present in comfy clothes w/shirt that says "I LIKE THIS THING!" Occasionally super fem
A block of 20 photos of me over the years, ranging from age 13 (1988) in the upper left corner to recent photos of me in 2025. Hoo boo has my gender expression been all over the place or what? 🤣
Obligatory ferry shots! Now I turn right back around to get back to Seattle (Bainbridge Island is lovely and a great place to visit, I just gotta get back so I can swoop and grasp a Sam Darnold jersey from the Lumen Field Pro Shop).
Hey look it's Mona on the ferry to Bainbridge! It's another ferry! It's Rainier! It's the Space Needle!
I LOVE Burien. My best friend from college lives there, and I always crash at her place, so I've gotten pretty comfortable there.
Nah, I want them to win bc I want the city and my M's fan-friends to be happy, but I'm not an actual Mariners fan myself.

Weirdly, the only Seattle team I root for is the Seahawks.

But I'll be watching on TV tonight. And obv I'll be at the Hawks game Monday.
Woke up at 4:30 am bc my body thinks it's 7:30. Decided to attack the day. I wanted to get from Burien to SoDo before traffic got too gnarly, but the Lumen Field Pro Shop doesn't open til 10. My solution? Park, take a ferry ride to Bainbridge and back (which I would enjoy anyway) 😊
Mona has short dark hair with blue highlights. She is wearing her cute fem glasses. She has on powder blue eyeshadow, pewter eyeliner, and soft pink lipstick. She is wearing a Jaxon Smith-Njigba Seahawks shirt under a navy blue hoodie. She is wearing a grey skirt over blue leggings, and is wearing grey and blue hiking shoes.
I've been there—Loved it, it's great 👍😃
I love the Museum of Flight! 😊😊 I might go check it out again while I'm here. I love the HUGE planes in the outdoor hanger, particularly the 747.
Oh fuuuuuuck I'm psyched to see this one...
I'm staying w/a friend in Burien, & I'm thinking for Thursday I might stay on the south side & just hit the Seahawks Pro Shop in Renton (particularly w/the Mariners home game at 5).

What's cool in south Seattle / the Southside suburbs I should check out? Food, coffee, parks, museums, shopping, etc?
Ok, technically not a ROBOT fuck chair, but still. Minor Coens, but a lot of fun. 3.5 stars.
Watching Burn After Reading on the plane so I can listen to the Blank Check episode about it. Haven't seen it since I saw it in the theater upon release. I totally forgot that Clooney builds a robot fuck chair (no negativity implied, just out of pocket for what I expected from this movie 😂)...
Fueled up. Exit row seat with no one next to me. Let's fuckin' GO. Wheels up to Sea-Tac! 🛫
Mona brandishes both an iced coffee and a nice seat on the flight from Columbus to Seattle.
Off to Seattle to see friends, family, enjoy 1 of my favorite cities & return to my cathedral (Lumen Field) to roar in the choir of 12s @ a Seahawks game. I'll miss my wonderful spouse Natalie, as well as these adorable new members of our family (Smartie + Skittle) who like using my leg as a bed 😍😍😍
The top two photos are of Natalie dropping Ramona off at John Glenn International Airport in Columbus, Ohio. The bottom photo is of two kittens resting on Mona's leg.
I recently caught a screening of Hard Boiled at my local indie theater and yeah - This is a John Woo signature as much as firing two guns while sliding down a banister/in slow motion midair or birds birds birds BIRDS!

(Also, Hard Boiled was fan-fucking-tastic in a theater, remastered in 4K)
Watched The Killer with the boys tonight and remembered that an important part of a John Woo HK movie is that the cars be the most busted tiny sedans possible
I'm waving my blue and green pom-poms over here, trying to get a "Be efficient! B! E! EFFICIENT!" cheer going amongst us 12s 📢📢
The computers absolutely love Sam Darnold. They have for some time. More than a couple metrics point to Darnold being the most efficient QB in the league.
EPA and completion rate over expected through Week 6
Avoiding the post-Costco lunch crash by chugging a Celcius. CUBE LIFE, BAYBEEE 🫨🫨🫨
Photos of Mona holding up a Costco Chicken Bake, a Costco swirl soft serve ice cream, and a Grape Rush Celcius.
On Saturday I had to explain to someone that the movie we just watched (A House of Dynamite, dir. by Kathryn Bigelow) WASN'T based on Nuclear War: A Scenario, evening though the, um, SCENARIOS are strikingly similar. Denis Villeneuve owns the film rights to the Jacobsen book (holy shit I AM A NERD).
I assumed it was just bc I'm 50 (I remember the Cold War & was scarred by watching The Day After when it aired) and grew up in an area (near the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in eastern Washington) that BRAGGED about being a "Soviet First-Strike Target." But is South Dakota festooned w/ICBM silos?
Just downloaded 2 audiobooks for my cross-country flights over the next week:

Woodworking by @emilystjams.bsky.social (bought the hardcover but my ADHD kept me from finishing it—now I gotta treat it like a podcast)

Nuclear War: A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen

Yeah, I don't make sense to me either.
Crazy that it has taken me this long, but I am finally going to dip my toe into "wearing leggings under a skirt" when I am out in Seattle this week. Woooaaahhh don't get too crazy there, Mona.
I came into this season hopeful that Darnold could be 75 percent as good as he was through 16 games for Minnesota last year.

Now?

I have no doubt that he is a franchise quarterback, nor do I doubt his ability to take a team to the Super Bowl and WIN.
Quarterback grade and efficiency. I still cannot believe what Darnold is doing this season
Is it insane that I'm seriously thinking of...

Booking a flight on Southwest from Columbus to Nashville for the EARLY morning of Nov. 23 -> Ubering to the #Seahawks v Titans game -> WATCH SEAHAWKS WIN AT LUMEN EAST -> Ubering back to the airport -> flying back to Columbus that night?
Happy birthday to my younger kiddo 🎉🎉🎉 Love you so much, Silly Lily 🤩🤩🤩
Four photos of Mona with her daughter Lily over the years.
I've had a fraught relationship w/wearing Halloween costumes for a while. Lots of weird gender stuff/feelings. So it speaks to my growing comfort w/myself, my non-binarysness, etc that my spouse + I are doing Ramona Flowers & Scott Pilgrim for Halloween - & I'll be Scott 😆😜🎃
A production still from Scott Pilgrim vs The World (2010), with Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers.
