Because in some restaurants the waiter or waitress has to pay a certain percentage to the communal tip pool for the bus boys and dishwashers.

The $2.13 tipped minimum wage covers payroll taxes.

So if you don't get any tips you will literally be working for negative income!

The more autonomy they were given, the more risks the LLMs took. They exhibit gambler's fallacy, loss-chasing, illusion of control...

A cautionary note for using LLMs for investing without guardrails.

I am pleased to learn that ChatGPT can now make a chart based on real data and discuss the chart with me. And I can ask it questions like "Does this curve look like it represents what I would naively think or is the underlying causality different?" and it can investigate that and comment on it.
