tldr i learned this week that disabling "exclusive mode" on windows audio devices actually... what? it... does what it says? like, it actually /does/ something? wait... so you can just... run asio drivers parallel to normal system audio. you can just /do that/. wait... WITH voicemeeter running? HUH?

tomorrow i am either going to start recording synths for crash 3 or we are going to stream windows 98 games. unclear which it'll be.

i finally figured out how to stream myself recording this stuff without impacting the latency on my DAW and i kind of can't believe how simple it was

Captain's Log. Been red-eyeing the project now known as "cRASH 3". Total runtime has breached 10 hours, necessitating a detour to consolidate & study the results. I've thus far been able to refine the first 6hrs into 120mins of "true candidate" material. However, synths may be required (Dangerous).
