a bit of a step down in quality from the first season, though it saves itself a little by the finale. the fundamental flaw though is that these sorts of mystery box stories a la Lost is that you really shouldn't be taking like three years to make a new season, for the retention

not so fun fact, buying a marvel/dc comic off the shelf does not count as supporting it in any metric. you gotta go through a specific pre-ordering process for the company to get your "please don't cancel it" message. as opposed to like image comics where your money does go into the creator's pocket
