conceptualizing the female lead for my book and thought "what if her favorite anime was nana and that's where she derives her fashion sense from as well as other characteristics" in what i thought was a stroke of genius. the main problem with this, however, is that i've not actually seen/read nana.

the real reason why the romantic lead of most shounen anime and VNs are unremarkable & affable dark haired boys is cause i think they are rather cute/endearing. and the more i see people on the other site complain about it, the more times i personally ask emperor naruhito to make more of those guys

my favorite comic podcast doing an episode going over the game award nominees and when they got to best mobile game they were like "i don't play these. but it's gonna be uma musume." had me cackling in the office. the horses truly have broken containment.
