It is so fitting that we are basically just trying to knock over that last domino to trigger the implosion so very much incompetence on top of incompetence inevitably causes. This is all because rich people have never had to live in the real world.

I think part of the disconnect between people who are very into incorporating genAI into everything and those who are skeptical is that people who understand technology know that anything text-based that you are using it for is not new.

ok i read through all the bios and ended up picking the same people as the local teacher's union, so that's fine. i hate that it's such an important role but it's a lot of work to just find out what people believe!

it's like, just TALK to your kids' teachers. just TALK TO THEM. they can explain why things are the way they are, but also you will affect how they view things going forward.

i'm sorry but if you're running for school board, and you have in your bio that you want parents to have more say in the curriculum, i am going to assume you are a book-banner. so if you're NOT a book-banner, don't put that in your bio, because that's how many people will read it.
